Allstar Cheer

Austin Cheer Academy’s All Star program is perfect for athletes who want to grow their skills in a competitive, team-centered environment without the pressure of a high-intensity gym. With elite competition teams ranging from levels 1-5, there’s a place for every athlete, whether they’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to take their skills to the next level!

At ACA, we believe success isn’t just measured in trophies. It’s seen in the teammate who cheers others on, the athlete who finds their voice, and the parent who feels part of the journey. From fundamentals to elite-level performance, our coaches emphasize proper progressions, mental resilience, and character development, never shortcuts or pressure.

ACA offers a space where athletes can compete, build confidence, and form friendships that last well beyond the season.

Time Commitment:

Our season runs June through May, with a focus on teamwork, consistency, and progress.

Typical Practice Schedule:

Summer (June–July):

Wednesdays only

Regular Season (August–April):

  • Sundays – 2 hours

  • Wednesdays – 1.5 hours

  • Additional practices may be scheduled before competitions to help teams feel confident and prepared.

We ask that athletes prioritize attendance, as routines are built around every team member’s role. Consistent practice ensures safety, trust, and the best possible experience for the full team. We understand life happens- communication is key and always encouraged.

Typical Competition Schedule:

Teams will attend between 5-7 one or two- day competitions in Texas. We will potentially have end of season bid events in Florida (depending on teams earning a bid).

Team Evaluations:

Evaluations at ACA are a low-pressure, positive experience designed to help us get to know each athlete’s strengths and find the right team fit. We want every athlete to feel confident, encouraged, and excited to show us what they’ve been working on.

Athletes are placed on teams based on age, skill level, and a variety of other factors, including:

  • Performance at evaluations

  • What they consistently demonstrate in class

  • Past experience

  • Overall team needs

Evaluations typically take place in May, however, we do accept athletes year-round in certain situations, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’ve missed the evaluation window.
